It was a great day to be out on the lake, and I'm so glad I had the chance to take a scouting trip with Brett McNeill. We headed out onto beautiful Lake Lanier for an afternoon of fishing, and our expectations were high. I caught a 4-pound largemouth bass on nothing but a 1/16-ounce Crappie jig.
