<div>The deepwater bite is back on for the winter which means downlines with blueback herring or trout. Search the river channel, creek channels, creek backs, and adjacent ditches with bait fish on your sonar to find your starting points. In the creeks add weighted freelines into the mix with your downlines. There is still a good "Mini Mack" bite in the creeks. If you fished with me in September, you might have seen these minis go to work. However, our speed is going to be a lot slower this time of year. We call it stealth trolling. A series of minis either behind the boat or pulled on planer boards at about 1.5mph with the trolling motor, just enough to give it action will get those picky fish to react. You can find plenty of these rigs at Hammond's Fishing Center and I personally like the 4 blade Mini Macks on both the bucktails and shad bodies</div>

Non-stop bites all day long! Summer on Lake Lanier brought us perfect conditions for an early morning fishing adventure. I took Fernando and their crew out from Vanns Tavern Park in Gainesville, GA for a 5-hour trip with No Excuses Striper Fishing On Lake Lanier. The day started clear, though we kept an eye out for possible storms later. With five of us on board, we were ready to chase some big fish and make the most of our time on the water.

With our gear rigged and ready, we set out to target Spotted Bass, Striped Bass, and Largemouth Bass. We employed a mix of trolling, crankbaiting, and live bait fishing techniques to cover our bases. The lake didn't disappoint - we landed some impressive catches throughout the morning. The highlight reel included a 36-inch Spotted Bass, a 37-inch Striped Bass, and a 36-inch Largemouth Bass. Each fish put up a great fight and gave us some exciting moments on the water. We wrapped up the trip with smiles all around, proud of the day's catches.

It was another great day out on the water with Thomas and his boys. April is prime time for striped bass fishing on Lake Lanier, and the conditions couldn't have been better day to spend the day chasing some big fish. We met up at the boat ramp and got the gear ready for an exciting 4-hour private fishing trip with No Excuses Striper Fishing.As soon as we hit the lake, we started working different techniques to find the striper bite. Also trolling Capt Macks Mini Mack is working also. I troll them at 1.1to 1.5 mph with my trolling motor about 80 ft behind the boat which puts your rig about 20 ft deep.&nbsp; The striper pre-spawn is fast approaching so I throw in a nice fat gizzard shad on a planer float about 100ft behind the boat.
